HAT Partners with EuroFinance for One More Year

We’re proud to announce that HAT is continuing its partnership with EuroFinance for another year. As one of the leading events for treasury and finance professionals, EuroFinance brings together industry experts, innovators, and corporate treasurers from around the world.
Hellenic Association of Treasurers, through its Treasury Operations Working Group, and Eurobank will host an in-person discussion on the evolving landscape of Account-to-Account (A2A) payments and treasury innovation on Friday, 29 May 2026, at the Eurobank Digital Hub in Nea Ionia.

The event will explore the impact of Open Banking and SEPA Instant Payments on the future of payments, bringing together treasury, banking, and payments professionals for an industry discussion featuring speakers from D-Marin, OTE Group Treasury, Waterdrop, Eurobank, and Worldline.
On 23 April 2026, the HAT Treasury Operations Working Group hosted a successful webinar on ISO 20022 and its implications for Greek corporate treasurers. Moderated by Alexandros Andrikopoulos and featuring industry experts, the session provided practical guidance on preparing for upcoming changes in payments, reporting, and data management ahead of the November 2026 deadline.

The Hellenic Association of Treasurers (HAT) successfully hosted the 2nd Women in Treasury event on 23 March 2026, focusing on “Building a Resilient Treasury Policy Framework.” Held at the EY Greece offices and online, the event brought together treasury professionals to share practical insights and best practices for strengthening treasury policies in a dynamic financial environment. HAT thanks EY Greece and all speakers and participants for their valuable contributions.
HAT Hosts Webinar on Corporate Cash Investment Strategies in Collaboration with Goldman Sachs
The Hellenic Association of Treasurers hosted the 2nd Young Treasury Leaders event at the University of Piraeus in collaboration with the Department of Maritime Studies and the National Bank of Greece. The event brought together academics and industry professionals to discuss ESG, sustainable finance, and shipping decarbonisation, reinforcing HAT’s commitment to supporting the next generation of treasury leaders.
The HAT General Assembly 2025 brought together members from 40 organizations, marking the start of our 6th year as a truly international treasury community with 370 active members across Greece, Cyprus, and 22 countries of the Hellenic Diaspora.
HAT Co-Hosts Pan-European Webinar on LEI and Verification of Payee
HAT participated in EuroFinance 2025 in Budapest, with a strong delegation representing the Greek treasury community, engaging with global peers and industry leaders.
The Hellenic Association of Treasurers, is a nonprofit organization, founded by five Greek Expat Treasurers in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in December 2020. The association is moving to Athens, Greece as of July 15th 2025.​
